Mess In Miami 32-page comic

This is an action comedy comic I have made which tackles police incompetence in a light-hearted sense. This project was inspired by Miami Vice, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, 80s media and 80s music. I chose to add no borders around my comic panels to add to the chaotic personality of one of the main characters.

I have experimented with the dialogue boxes for this project and decided on simple hand drawn (on a tablet) dialogue boxes which connects to the comical aspect and messy setting of the comic book. I targeted this comic towards audiences in their teenage years/young adult years. My secondary audience are people born in the 80s because of my inclusion of culture and media from that time.
